Dr No-knowledge

My favourite part of Mark Samuels' column (The geek shall inherit the earth, knowledge.computing.co.uk) was "saying you don't Twitter or social network is tantamount to declaring yourself a dim-witted laggard."

But there are still many people who have not yet embraced technology. This is a very unfortunate truth. Just the other day, I had to explain to someone with a PhD that optical character recognition is the reason why he did not have to re-type a 10-page document. Sad, but true.
